This Apple mobile phone and tablet experience desk uses a clean, simple design language in line with the Apple brand character. The worktop presents phones and tablets together with sensible spacing between positions, so customers can try devices naturally and comfortably in an Apple product store or dedicated brand area.
The worktop is divided into zones for phones and larger tablets, with each zone having its own concealed cable route and mounting preparation for security stands. The body is fabricated from sheet metal and provides an internal compartment for power supplies and controllers, and the front face is left plain for brand graphics. Adjustable feet allow levelling on site.
The sheet metal body uses powder coating for a durable, easily cleaned surface, and the worktop finish resists scuffs from constant device handling. The primary frame is fabricated from high grade cold rolled steel plate through laser cutting, CNC bending, welding and polishing, then finished with degreasing, rust removal, phosphating and electrostatic powder coating or fluorocarbon baking paint, giving a coating with strong adhesion, good scratch resistance and long term colour stability. Display surfaces use 5mm tempered safety glass with high light transmittance and impact resistance. High quality LED chips provide internal lighting with low light decay, long service life and low energy consumption, and all edges are chamfered and rounded for safe daily use.
